Melissa Armstrong
Melissa Armstrong has over 18 years clinical experience working in government agencies delivering clinical social work services. She has post graduate qualifications in family therapy and for the last 10 years has worked as a Senior Clinician within Child and Youth Mental Health Services. Melissa is a certified Family-Based Therapist (Training Institute of Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders). She has completed specialist training, supervision and has a wealth of clinical experience in the application of Family Based Treatment for Adolescent Anorexia Nervosa and Attachment Based Family Therapy for depressed and suicidal adolescents. Melissa provides both individual and family therapy for the treatment of mental health difficulties in children and young people. She is recognised for her ability to easily develop positive therapeutic relationships with both children, adolescents and their caring network. Melissa provides a Medicare rebate for all consultations (if you have a doctor’s referral.)

Fortnightly Mondays 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Fortnightly Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm

Adolescents/ young adults. Providing family therapy for treatment of adolescent emotional difficulties. Working with families who have a child/adolescent experiencing mental health difficulties. Treatments: Family Based Treatment of Adolescent Anorexia Nervosa and Attachment Based Family Therapy for depressed and suicidal adolescents
