Dr Megan Richardson
Dr Megan Richardson enjoys working with young people, their families and those who support them, finding practical and individually-tailored interventions with a holistic approach. As well as being trained in the use of medication (where needed), she has trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Therapy and Psychodynamic therapy. She is a trained Circle of Security Parent Facilitator and trained in SPARK Communication: Coaching Parents to Use Hanen Strategies to communicate with their children.
She trained at the Prince Charles Hospital, the Princess Alexandra Hospital and at Children’s Health Queensland (including the Queensland Children’s Hospital and CYMHS clinics), helping children and their carers from birth through to early adulthood.

Mondays 8:30am – 5:00pm
Tuesdays 8:30am – 5:00pm
Wednesdays 8:30am – 5:00pm
Special Interests
Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Early Psychosis, BPAD, ADHD, ASD. Treatments – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, as well as initiation and management of medication where needed.

GP referral (12 months or indefinite) or specialist referral (3 months)
